My husband Mitch and I are first time parents to our boy Hayden who has got to be one of the cutest babies ever although of course we completely biased in that opinion but if you agree then thank you!
My blog posts will mostly be about everything baby and mummy related so what then can I tell you ‘About Me’? Not very good at talking about myself, always struggle with this type of question in job interviews and I must come across as a really boring person! Well I’m a born and bred not your stereotypical Essex girl (and proud). The three of us live in Romford with several fish – more Mitch’s pets than mine but Hayden loves looking at the fish tank so I suppose they’re ok even if the way they poo majorly grosses me out! We met at The University of Kent in 2008 and got married in April 2017 and somehow we won Essex Wedding of the Year but it was a bloody good wedding – again…biased.
I’m currently on maternity leave from my job as a Primary School Teacher. I love my job but right now I’m loving living the mum life and not missing work at all at the moment!
I’d love to say that I’m one of those people who gets up at 5am and goes for a run everyday and then gets glammed up for an evening out but that’s just not me. I’m a home bird at heart and there’s nothing I love more than a wine, fajita and movie night. I’m more of a pub person than a club person, what can I say, I just like to be comfortable…not lazy! When I’ve got time and the inspiration I like a bit of crafting and baking but sadly I am one of those people who has lots of half finished projects on the go. I just get distracted and bored easily, possibly a bit impatient too. I like to think of myself as a bit of a foodie but really I just like to eat tasty food.
I apologise now for any mistakes in my blog posts. I am very much a rambler when it comes to writing (not walking, more of a slow stroller on that front which really annoys Mitch and his insanely fast walking) and my posts are very much a brain dump!
